British royal news is buzzing again over Kate Middleton’s latest fashion pick, and this time it was something pretty budget-friendly. Recently, Kate and Prince William posted a video on the @kensingtonroyal Instagram account to honor volunteers for Volunteer Week in the UK.
The clip features bits from their video calls with volunteers all around the country. They spoke with folks from Conscious Youth, an organization that encourages young people to get involved in “active citizenship and community cohesion,” as well as Machynlleth Corona Community Response, which offers “community support” during the pandemic.
In the video, William and Kate warmly thanked the volunteers and asked them how volunteering has impacted their lives. Prince William also shared that he’s been helping out himself as a Crisis Volunteer on the SHOUT 85258 crisis text line-a story that caught attention just last week.
You could see Kate smiling throughout as she listened to volunteer stories. She said, “You guys are out there volunteering in your own ways. Everyone’s got something to give back.” She added, “These small acts of kindness, they go such a long way.”
Now about her style – keen fans noticed she wore a couple of pieces they’d seen before. Her blouse was by M. i. h. Jeans, which she first wore at the Chelsea Flower Show back in 2019. That blouse sells for about $320.
The real buzz though was around her earrings – big gold hoops called Accessorize “Twisted Circle Drop” earrings. Kate first showed them off at a reception in Dublin this past March. And guess what? They cost only $8 and are still available online right now.
If you want earrings like Kate’s, you don’t have to spend much at all! It looks like she mixes pricey items with affordable finds – which is awesome news if you want to copy her look without breaking the bank!
