Diane passed away quietly with her family close by at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital in Goderich on Monday, January 26, 2026. She was 60 years old. She shared 40 years of marriage with her husband Dave Clark. Diane was the proud mom of Nathaniel from New Brunswick and Matthew from Blyth. She was a sister and sister-in-law to Louise (Ron) from Exeter, Paul from Goderich, Yvonne (Orval) from Kakabeka Falls, Nelly (Eugene) from Kitchener, Suanne from Goderich, Wade (Sherri) from Goderich, Mike from Woodstock, and Alan from Goderich. Diane was also a daughter-in-law to Glenn & Donna Irvine. Many nieces and nephews remember her fondly. She was predeceased by her parents Peter and Rita Lazet, her sister-in-law Cindy, her niece Sheena, and her father-in-law Art.
The family wants to give a big thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff in the ICU at Alexandra Marine & General Hospital for all the kindness and care they gave Diane during her time there.
There will be a celebration of Diane’s life at Huron Chapel Evangelical Missionary Church located at 119 John St in Auburn on Saturday, May 9, 2026. It will run from noon until 2 PM. Later on, there will be a private burial with just family at Ball’s Cemetery.
