Coin collectors from all over southwestern Ontario are set to come together in Cambridge, Ont., this weekend for the 35th edition of the Cambridge Coin Show, put on by the Waterloo Coin Society.
This one-day event takes place at the Cambridge Newfoundland Club, 1500 Dunbar Rd., running Saturday from 9 a. m. until 4 p. m.
Entry costs $2, and kids under 16 get in free with an adult. They’re also welcoming cash donations at the door to support the Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank.
Over 50 dealer tables will be there offering a broad range of numismatic stuff – things like banknotes, coins, medals, tokens, reference books and supplies for collectors. Folks can buy, sell or trade items and even get their collections checked out by experts who know their stuff.
Some of the money made from the show will go to both the Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank and the Royal Canadian Numismatic Association.
Canadian Coin News will also have two tables at the event with all kinds of numismatic gear for collectors along with their latest CCN issue.
