Niall Chamberlain stole the show at Squared Circle Boxing Academy’s very first home event on 25 May.
The club, based in Cambridge, held the event at Burwell Sports Centre, featuring both skills challenges and competitive fights.
Chamberlain, a local resident of the village, really stood out with a commanding performance against his opponent from St Osyth Boxing Gym.

The ‘Burwell Bomber’ made great use of his longer reach, landing sharp jabs before putting together a series of combos that led to a stoppage win.
Elsewhere on the card, Ethan Hubberd from Squared Circle notched up his third win in a row over an opponent from Ashford.
Hubberd had lost his first two fights but dominated every round this time around.
The club also celebrated its first victory for Louis Hadley. Facing someone from New Saints Boxing Club, Hadley bounced back after consecutive losses to claim the win.
On the other hand, Kayden Bidwell, Harvey Smith and Ruben Recio all had tight losses, while Lilly Yeates impressed during her very first skills match showing plenty of promise.
Yeates – like all fighters – received her trophy from European champion Jordan Gill.
