Wayne passed away quietly at home with his family by his side on Friday, March 13, 2026. He was 60 years old. He was the loving husband of the late Pamala (Campbell) Kennedy for 30 years. Proud dad to Mitchell Kennedy and Megan Makrevski, and Troy Kennedy and Melissa Siroen. Son to Helen and Ernest Miatello, and Hugh and Marion Kennedy, and son-in-law to the late Ray and Jean (Smith) Campbell. His partner April Geoffrey held a special place in his heart. He is also remembered by his sister Christena Kennedy along with her husband John Farquharson, plus his brothers- and sisters-in-law Glenn and Heather Campbell, Patricia and Al Hill, Dave and Veronica Campbell, Diane and Arnie Stinnissen, as well as Wayne and Gail Campbell. Wayne leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and tons of lifelong friends.
There will be a gathering to celebrate Wayne’s life at the Ilderton Community Centre located at 13168 Ilderton Road in ILDERTON on Saturday, April 18th from 2 PM until 4 PM.
The family would appreciate donations made in Wayne’s memory to ALS Canada or to the Brain Tumour Foundation’s 2026 Walk.
