Donald G. Bourdon Obituary

Bourdon, Donald Gordon

Passed away peacefully at home with his family close by on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the age of 88.

Devoted father to Cathy Bourdon, Darlene Vergis (Theo), and Dan Bourdon (Melinda).
His wife Donna Dowling will miss him dearly.
Proud grandpa to Chrisoula, Peter, Markus, and Sophie.
Brother to Irene (Rene).
Also remembered fondly by his niece and nephews; Jim, Anne, and Robert.

Donald was always active. He loved golfing, tennis, skiing, dancing and singing. Always had a book nearby because he was curious about the world and loved traveling. He lived life with a contagious happiness. A true social person at heart who thrived when around his family. Donald was a natural guide who enjoyed meeting new people and would happily share investment tips with anyone willing to listen!

The family will welcome friends and relatives from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Henry Walser Funeral Home located at 507 Frederick Street in Kitchener; phone number is 519-749-8467. Cremation has already been completed.

If you’d like to show support in Donald’s memory, donations can be made to the KW Food Bank or Dying with Dignity Canada (cards available at the funeral home).
