David Albert Pawluk, aged 74 and from Thunder Bay, passed away quietly at Hogarth with his family close by on May 16, 2026. He was born March 5, 1952 in Fort William and grew up going to school in Dorion. David worked as a truck driver for Sturgeon Timber until he had to retire because of an injury. He leaves behind his brothers and sisters: Doug (Deb), Marlene (James), Gerald (Pam), and Terry (Denise). There are also surviving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Sadly, his parents Nick and Judy Pawluk and nephew Jody Pawluk passed before him. A gathering to celebrate his life will happen on Friday, June 26 at 1:00pm at the Hurkett Community Centre. If you wish to honor him without flowers, donations to a charity you choose would be appreciated.
