Obituary of Maria Filomena Farina

We are heartbroken to share that Maria Farina passed away quietly on May 18, 2026, at age 60. She was surrounded by her family’s love and will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the deep care she showed to friends and loved ones.

Maria was a loving mother to Dominique (Claudio). She was always Dominique’s biggest fan and trusted advisor-a steady source of love, support, and wisdom. Maria gave so much of herself to make sure Dominique’s happiness came first.

She was the dear daughter of Carolina Farina and the late Gaetano Farina (who passed in 2026). Now she is reunited with her father.

Maria also leaves behind siblings Onorio Farina (Anne), Valerio Farina, and Gina Kuehfuss (Jurgen).

A proud aunt to Jeramiah Farina, Zachariah Farina, Jacob Farina, Dylan Farina, Noah Kuehfuss, and Ryan Kuehfuss-she loved them all deeply and will be missed by every one of them.

She held a special place in the hearts of Ivy Demarco, Colby Demarco (her godson), and the whole Demarco family.

Maria’s presence will also be missed by Joe Fratangeli, her PBL group ladies, golf buddies, plus many more friends.

With her warm nature and generous heart, Maria made everyone feel welcome and valued. So many who met her carry fond memories because she truly cared.

Her loss leaves a big hole felt deeply by family members near and far as well as close friends she held dear.

We’ll always remember her for the love she shared, the inner strength she showed every day, and how brightly she lit up lives around her.

Forever in our hearts; we’ll miss you always.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, phone: 519-253-7235) on Sunday May 24th from 2 to 5pm then again from 7 to 9pm. The funeral service happens Monday May 25th at 10:00am in the chapel followed by entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.

Instead of flowers please consider donating to The Hospice of Windsor on behalf of the family. You can share your condolences or stories online at www. windsorchapel. com.
