A man from Cambridge is now facing impaired driving charges after OPP officers noticed him peeing beside the road.

Police from the Perth OPP unit said they found the 68-year-old standing on the shoulder of Perth Line 33, around 10 p. m. on Tuesday night.

They reported he was relieving himself next to a parked car.

The officers say he showed signs that he was impaired and arrested him, charging him with two counts related to operating a vehicle while impaired.

On top of that, they hit him with another charge under the Liquor Licence Control Act for having care or control of a vehicle with an open alcohol container inside.

The man from Cambridge has had his driver’s license suspended for 90 days and his car impounded for a week.
