We’re saddened to share that Agnes Barbara Ward (née Dueck; formerly Carnegie) passed away on the morning of May 13th, 2026 in Picton, Ontario, Canada. Agnes was married to the late Ron Ward and is survived by her children Valerie, Thomas, and John; her chosen daughter Vicky Grimshaw; grandchildren Renée Bleakely, David Evans, Jacqueline Kerr, Isobel Carnegie, Jack Carnegie, Lori Cerqua, Sarah Bell; along with many great-grandchildren.
Big thanks go out to the team at Hallowell House in Picton for the kind and professional care they gave Agnes over these last months.
Cremation has already taken place. A formal gathering to honor Agnes’ life will happen this summer in Orillia, Ontario (details on date and venue will be shared soon).
