Passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026, at the age of 76. She was the loving wife of the late Loreto (2022), with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Devoted mother to Johnny (Tanya) and Diana Leonardi (Marc). Proud grandmother of Gianni, Alessia, Max, and Matthew.
Born in Posta Fibreno, Frosinone Italy to her caring parents Michele and Italia Farina. Sister to Domenic Farina (Lydia). Also survived by nieces Michelle Farina and Nancy Cyrenne (Mark), as well as Great-Aunt to Domenic, Sammy, Eadee, and Adalyn.
She truly loved her family; her grandchildren meant everything to her. Nonna felt happiest when looking after others. Whether it was cooking her homemade meals or catching up over a cup of coffee or chatting on the phone, she always found time for those she cared about. Those closest knew she always had treats ready for her beloved puppy Chicho.
Cooking and spending time with her grandchildren were some of her favorite things. A typical day might include shopping followed by coffee with friends or getting ready for their visits. She was kindhearted and sweet; everyone who knew her will remember her warm spirit and funny stories.
Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (3048 Dougall Ave., 519-253-7236) on Friday May 1 from 3-5 pm & 7-9 pm. It continues Saturday starting at 10:30 am until the Funeral Service at 11:00 am in the chapel on May 2, 2026. Cremation will follow.
