Modular building company setting up shop in Cambridge, looking for over 100 employees

There are more than 100 openings at a company starting up a factory in Cambridge.

This will be NRB Modular Solutions’ second spot in Ontario, known for providing complete modular building services. Their other facility is in Grimsby.

“We know that the COVID-19 pandemic has strained the job market in many regions and industry sectors and we couldn’t be happier to bring over 100 well-paying jobs to the Cambridge area requiring a mix of skill levels and experience,” Dawn Nigro, President, NRB Modular Solutions, said in a release.

“Those who join us will help our team accelerate our mission to demonstrate that modular construction is simply a better way to build the critical infrastructure that is needed in our communities.” Nigro added.

The roles they’re looking to fill include carpenters, material handlers and general labourers. You can find more info on NRB’s career page.

The finished buildings from NRB often end up as multi-family homes, affordable housing projects, healthcare centers, and similar places.

The plan is to open the new Cambridge site – at 950 Industrial Road – on May 1.
