Mr. Louie “Kevin” Kovacs from Delhi, Ontario passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, March 14, 2026, just before his 30th birthday. Kevin was a quiet guy who kept to himself, but those close to him knew how kind and warm-hearted he was. He really took pride in his job as a forklift driver and worked hard for over ten years. In his free time, he liked hanging out with friends, riding dirt bikes, gaming, and playing with his family dog Charlie. He enjoyed peaceful walks on the trails and stopping by the water to read. Kevin is the son of Linda (Demarest) and Louie Kovacs. He’s survived by his sister Kristin Hutchings (Kris) and nephew Karson Hutchings. He was the grandson of Barbara Demarest (who passed in 2017) and Madeline Kovacs (who passed in 2020). Kevin was also loved by his Aunt Cathy Garrison (Aaron), Uncle Ron Demarest (Jill), cousins Amanda, Kaitlin and Danielle; along with Uncle Rob Kovacs (Bonnie) and cousins Nick and Caitlin. Sadly, he was predeceased by infant cousin Rece Garrison (1998). A visitation will be held at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME in Delhi on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 2:00 to 5:00 p. m. The family would appreciate memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association (Brant – Haldimand – Norfolk Branch) or any charity of your choice.
