Andrew James Force
March 12, 2003 – January 12, 2026
Andrew James Force from Woodstock, Ontario, died on January 12, 2026, at just 22 years old. Born March 12, 2003, Andrew was a bright presence to many people around him. His unique personality, creativity, and talents really stood out.
After a serious car crash, Andrew faced a tough and exhausting three months as his body tried to recover. It was quite the ride with ups and downs-hopeful moments mixed with huge challenges. But through everything he showed amazing strength and didn’t lose sight of who he was. Right up until the end he stayed true to himself-strong, real, and surrounded by those who loved him.
He will be greatly missed by his parents Lee-Ann Force, Steve Lind, and Paul Force; his sisters Reese and Charlotte Lind and Avery Force. Andrew had a special bond with his grandparents: Bob and Marlene Stoneman; Steve Lind and Thelma Munro; John and Linda Force; Brenda and Paul Wilson. He also leaves behind several aunts and uncles including David and Mandy Stoneman (and their kids Zack and Ava), Tim Lind along with Michael, Megan, Everett, and Brenden Force.
Andrew was especially close to his mom Lee-Ann and stepdad Steve who raised him like his own son. They shared lots of great times-from trips to Canada’s Wonderland to going out for car or truck shows. Steve loved taking Andrew to Toronto Maple Leafs games; those outings were full of laughter and genuine connection over something they both loved.
From early on Andrew showed he had a knack for building things. He spent hours working on “Frankenstein” trucks or customizing vehicles -something that brought him loads of happiness while impressing everyone around him. He also enjoyed gaming deeply-getting lost in virtual worlds where he could master all sorts of challenges. Plus golfing was another favorite pastime especially when playing rounds with his dad.
He had this wicked sense of humor too-dry sometimes dark or sarcastic-that often cracked up friends & family alike reminding everyone how powerful laughter can be even when times get rough.
Losing Andrew leaves an enormous hole in the hearts of family & friends alike but they take some comfort knowing there are plenty of memories filled with his smiles, strong will, and steady spirit. He’ll always be remembered for courage, having fun being creative, making people laugh, and making life better for anyone lucky enough to know him.
The family wants to thank Dr. Brad Moffat , Dr. John Yoo , plus the team at Victoria Hospital Critical Care Unit for their care , kindness , and dedication through this difficult time. Their support really meant so much.
Cremation has already been done ; plans are underway for a celebration of Andrew’s life sometime later.
