Cambridge United have brought in defender Sean Raggett from Rotherham United on loan for the rest of the season.
The 32-year-old has appeared 13 times for the Millers this campaign, scoring once – that goal came against Manchester City Under-21s in the EFL Trophy.
He’s joining a Cambridge team currently sitting second in League Two and unbeaten over their last 14 games under manager Neil Harris.
“He brings huge experience, not only at this level but of competing at this stage of the season to be successful,” said Harris.
“He will add aggression, composure and ability into our defensive unit, and I look forward to seeing his qualities within the group.”
Before moving to Rotherham, Raggett played for Dover Athletic and Lincoln City. He also featured in the English Football League with Norwich and Portsmouth – helping Portsmouth get promoted from League One in 2024.
