Cambridge United have secured Taylor Richards from QPR on a loan deal that will last the entire season.
Richards, who came through the youth setups at Manchester City and Brighton, is set to join the U’s for their pre-season trip to Portugal.
The 23-year-old initially joined Rangers on loan back in 2022 before making the move permanent, but he hasn’t played for their first team since December.
“It’s a big opportunity for me to come here and play some football,” Richards told the League One club’s website, external. “I just want to get out there and show what I can do.
“I want to get back to enjoying my football and if I am enjoying it, then everything else will come along with that.”
