CUFC TV Streaming Q&A for 2024/25

Before the 2024/25 season kicks off, Cambridge United want to clear up some updates about streaming and how fans can watch games, whether you’re in the UK or overseas..

This season marks a new five-year domestic TV deal between the EFL and Sky Sports, plus a fresh CUFC TV channel that’s taking over from the Club’s i Follow service used recently.

Below is a handy Q& A that explains what this all means for supporters.

If I’m in the UK, how can I watch Cambridge United matches on my TV or digital device next season?

If you’re in the UK, you can catch United games outside of the Article 48 Blackout Window on current Sky Sports channels or on the brand-new Sky Sports+ channel. This works through live streams and a redesigned app for TVs and mobile devices.

Sky Sports+ comes included with all existing Sky Sports subscriptions. Plus, the updated Sky Sports app will be your go-to spot for sports streaming on phones and tablets, with direct access to Sky Sports+ streams.

Which Cambridge United matches will be shown on Sky Sports here in the UK?

All midweek league matches, Carabao Cup fixtures, and Bristol Street Motors Trophy games will be shown on Sky Sports+.

Also, these selected rescheduled matches will be broadcast:

Saturday 8 August 2024 – Cambridge United vs Stockport County – 5:30pm – Sky Sports+Saturday 14 September 2024 – Mansfield Town vs Cambridge United – 12:30pm – Sky Sports+Thursday 26 December 2024 – Charlton vs Cambridge United – 3pm – Sky Sports Football Saturday 4 January 2025 – Cambridge United vs Bristol Rovers – 12:30pm – Sky Sports+

More fixtures are expected to be announced as the season goes on.

Do I need to subscribe to Sky Sports to watch games?

Nope. If you don’t have a Sky subscription, you can still get NOW Sports Day passes (£14.99) or Month memberships (£34.99) without any contract to watch all Sky Sports channels instantly.

Starting August, this also covers every live stream from Sky Sports+, plus on-demand catch-up content.
