The River Thames will be buzzing this weekend as crowds gather to watch one of the oldest sporting rivalries unfold once more, with rowing teams from Oxford and Cambridge going head to head.
Cambridge has had the edge over Oxford for a while now in both the Men’s and Women’s races. So, what can the dark blue crew do this year to change that?
There’ll be guests like Olympic gold medallist Imogen Grant and London’s Mayor Sir Sadiq Khan joining Clare Balding, Rishi Persad, and Qasa Alom on the broadcast. Plus, there’s a special film featuring husband-and-wife duo Steve Backshall and Helen Glover looking into how London’s river is doing environmentally.
The crews will race along the Championship Course starting at Putney in South West London. If you’re wondering who’s who, Oxford usually wears dark blue while Cambridge goes for lighter shades.
Here’s how you can catch all the action live across the BBC.
