Shelby passed away suddenly but peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2026 at her home in Kitchener, ON. She was just 12 years old.
She was the loving daughter of Samantha and Jessie.
An amazing big sister to her little sister Ashley.
A dear granddaughter to Janice and Mark Haddock.
Always remembered by her uncles, aunts, cousins, teachers, EA’s, and friends at school.
Shelby was a bright light for everyone lucky enough to know her. Her smile and sparkling eyes said so much when she didn’t have many words to share. Born tiny at just 2lbs 8oz, she fought hard through every challenge thrown her way. She kept proving the odds wrong right up until the end. Everyone who knew her will miss and love her forever.
The family will welcome relatives and friends from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener (519-749-8467). A celebration of life is planned for 3:30 PM on Thursday, January 8 in the chapel there.
