CRINGLE, Robert Blaine, aged 59, from Toronto and formerly of Thunder Bay, passed away following a brief illness. Born in Port Arthur, Ontario on August 26, 1966, to Rose and Wallace Cringle, Robert was a hardworking student who did well in school and had a lasting love for the arts and family get-togethers. After studying at Lakehead University, he moved to Toronto where he spent many years focused on his career. For over three decades, he worked as a Night Auditor at an executive hotel. Robert also valued his family deeply and made every effort to travel home during the holidays. He will be missed by Debbie Bunch (Martin) and Tricia Cringle; sister-in-law Carol; nephews Jeff Bunch (Kim), Zachary Bowler (Gen), Joshua Nelson, and Jonathan Cringle (Nicole); along with niece Hunter Charles. He was predeceased by his parents Rose (2017) and Wallace (2025); brother David (2024); and brother-in-law Clarence Charles (2015). Special thanks go to Laurie Ann for her friendship and support. Cremation has been completed. Robert will be laid to rest beside his mother at Sunset Memorial Gardens (3200 Oliver Road, Thunder Bay) during a private ceremony planned for later on. Instead of flowers, donations can be made in Robert’s name to the Ontario SPCA or the Humane Society Northwest Animal Centre.
