We’re deeply saddened to share that Peter Louis Miller passed away following a tough two and a half year battle with illness. Peter was a proud dad to his daughters Erin and Morgan, a devoted husband to Fern, and of course, Murphie-the family dog who visited him often at the nursing home. He was also a steady figure for his nieces, nephew, siblings-in-law, coworkers, and friends. Peter was the loving son of the late Rachel and Saul Miller and brother to Lorne.
Peter retired as a professor from the University of Windsor’s Faculty of Business. Folks will remember him for his sharp wit, dry humor, passion for sports, lively card games, love of good food, and strong dedication to both his career and family. He’ll be truly missed.
A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, March 23, 2026 at 2 p. m., at Congregation Beth El Cemetery located at 2720 Pillette Road in Windsor. Afterward, everyone is welcome to join shiva prayers and refreshments at Temple Beth El. Shiva prayers will also take place on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 6:30 p. m., at 2579 Cypress Ave., Windsor N8P 0A7.
