She passed away peacefully at home with her loving family nearby, on May 3, 2026, at age 57. Marta was the devoted wife of Radomir Cenic and a caring mother to Ivana, Jelena, and Petar. Her family and all who knew her will miss her dearly. She was also a beloved daughter of Marko and Soka Gledic.
Marta was a dear sister-in-law to Vesna Radic (Boro) and Mile Cenic (Dijana), as well as a much-loved aunt to Borjana, Ognjen, Sandra, Bogdana, and Ugljesa. She shared close bonds as a cousin with Sasa, Nada, Sandra, Nerka, George, Mile, Petar, and Nikola. Proudly she was Godmother to Stefan, Nikolina, and Nedeljko Malic. Besides family she leaves behind many good friends and coworkers.
Her creative side shone through in gardening and cooking; she really enjoyed baking special treats for those around her. Over time she liked listening to music and dancing too. Marta worked at AP Plasman for more than two decades before retiring – showing how committed she was. People will remember her kindness and generosity along with all the warm memories she gave to friends and family.
You can pay respects at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Location at 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor (519-253-7235) on Wednesday May 6th from 5:00 p. m. till 8:00 p. m., with prayers scheduled at 6:30 p. m. The visitation continues Thursday May 7th at Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Church located at 1960 Meldrum in Windsor from 10:30 a. m., leading up to the Funeral Service starting at 11:00 a. m. Burial follows afterwards at Windsor Memorial Cemetery. If you wish you may donate in memory of Marta to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.
