Lillian Luella George passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026, at the age of 90, surrounded by her family. She was born December 9, 1935, in Windsor, Ontario, to William and Cecile Kelly. Everyone who knew her remembers her for her kindness and joyful nature.
She was married to Kenneth George for 39 years. They shared a life full of love and laughter and were truly best friends. Together they raised four children: Mark, Judy (Will), Chris (2006), and Greg (Bryan). Her family meant everything to her, and she always supported them with a caring heart.
Lillian especially loved spending time with her grandchild Jamie (Trinity) and great-grandchildren Jaylin and Jazmyn. They brought so much happiness into her life.
She had many interests that showed off her lively personality-dancing, music, gardening, you name it. She was also really into crafts and enjoyed making things by hand to share with others. Lillian was part of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 255 where she made lots of good friends and felt connected to the community.
Her faith was very important to her. People admired how positive she stayed even during tough times. She had a way of lighting up any room just by being there. Lillian loved social gatherings but was equally great at listening when someone needed support. Her humor made everyone smile.
There will be a service held for Lillian on April 27, 2026 at Windsor Chapel – Banwell Location (11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, Windsor, ON). Visitation starts at 10 am followed by the Funeral Service at 11 am where family and friends can come together to celebrate her life. Burial will take place afterward at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Hospice of Windsor-a cause very close to Lillian’s heart.
As we say goodbye to Lillian Luella George, we remember all the laughter she shared and how much love she gave freely throughout her years with us.
