Margaret Parris
We’re sad to share that Margaret Audene Parris died suddenly but peacefully on Friday, April 24th, 2026, at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, Ontario.
She was born on March 4th, 1952, in Barbados to her caring mom Esmay Lynch and dad Rupert Alleyne. She leaves behind her parents and four brothers: Tony, Charles, Andrew and Paul.
Margaret moved to Canada in 1975 after finishing secretarial studies in the USA. When she first got here, she stayed with her brother Tony before moving out on her own. She worked at Sunnybrook Hospital until she retired.
She was a quiet person who really cared about others-especially her nieces and nephews-and always brought gifts whenever she traveled back home to Barbados or when they came for visits in Canada. She was always worried about her mum’s health and made sure to call every day to check on her.
Margaret will be remembered for how generous she was with family and friends and for being super organized wherever she worked.
