Remembering our sister Lillian Rosalie Emily Derochie who peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Health Sciences North.
Lillian was preceded in death by our parents Edward and Rosalie Derochie (Villeneuve) and siblings Jackie & Milton Beach, Margaret & Steve Palko, John & Ivy, Darlene Sweezey and Julie & Mary Anne. She leaves behind Joe & Bunny from Vernon, B. C., Sr. Roberta Derochie of Sudbury, Peter from Rocky Mountain House, A. B., Carolyn Murray of Sudbury, Louise in Maple Ridge, B. C., David & Helen from Whitefish Falls, and Heather & David Mahon of Bracebridge. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends will remember her fondly-especially Cathy, Annabelle, Arlene, Grace, Colleen and Helen & Louise Plourde.
We want to say thanks to the team on the 5th floor at Health Sciences North for their kindness and gentle care during her final day. Also grateful to Dr. Theresa Mirka along with Pam & Jen for all their support over the years.
We love you Lil – just like you always said: “God Bless You” & “Sleep with the Angels”.
Following Lillian’s wishes there’ll be a graveside service on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 2pm at Sudbury Catholic Cemetery on Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury. A reception will follow at Lockerby Legion Branch 564 located at 2200 Long Lake Rd., Sudbury.
