We’re heartbroken to let you know that Audrey Mary Donohue passed away on April 8, 2026 in Marathon, ON. She was loved by so many and will be missed a lot.
She’s now reunited with her husband Clifford, son Brian, daughter Ann, and her parents Cyril and Mary Petillion. Left behind are her sons Patrick (Gayle), Chuck (Martha), and Shayne (Claudette). Her daughter-in-law Patricia and son-in-law Terry also hold her close in their hearts.
Audrey was an amazing grandmother to 18 grandchildren, great-grandmother to 26 great-grandkids, and even a great-great-grandmother to 3 little ones.
She lived in Elliot Lake for many years where she worked as a nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital. A devout Catholic, she stayed very active in her church community and was one of the first members of the Catholic Women’s League there.
In 2018, Audrey moved to Marathon to be near family. The family wants to thank everyone at Peninsula Manor and Wilson Memorial Hospital in Marathon for taking such good care of her.
