A bunch of city departments and local partners are teaming up to put on the Science of Public Safety Touch-A-Truck Event at the Robert W. Healy Public Safety Building, located at 125 Sixth Street, happening Wednesday, April 23rd from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Come by and get a close look at the vehicles and meet the people who help keep our community safe. You’ll find trucks and hands-on displays from Cambridge Police, Fire Department, Public Works, Animal Control, Emergency Communications, and Park Rangers. Plus, our friends from Massachusetts Environmental Police, Middlesex Sheriff’s Office, and Professional Ambulance Service will be there too. The event is free for everyone interested and since it’s Autism Acceptance Month, it’ll be a sensory-friendly space.
