Regional police charge international child exploitation suspect

A Cambridge man arrested in connection with an international child exploitation investigation is now facing several new charges.

Justin Garzon was taken into custody on Aug. 20, 2025, and since then, the Waterloo Regional Police say additional victims have come forward.

According to police, the latest charges against Garzon include one count each of:

Luring a child Sexual interference Sexual assault causing bodily harm Making sexually explicit material available to a child Agreeing or arranging to commit a sexual offence against a child Producing child sexual abuse and exploitation material Possessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material Distributing child sexual abuse and exploitation material

The police told 570 News Radio that while they aren’t sharing exactly how many new victims have been identified, they believe there could still be others in Waterloo Region and nearby areas.

When Garzon was initially arrested last summer at age 36, he faced 20 charges related to these kinds of offenses.

Since then, six more charges have been added, including assault causing bodily harm (strangulation) and uttering threats to cause death.

Authorities say Garzon used multiple fake names across social media platforms to contact children. Some of the aliases include:

Justin Alexander Garzon Ziggy Xavier Kain Gatsby ASMR and Gatsby NSFW (Tik Tok) Egsneakyboi (Kik) Alex Mr Daddy, Alex Dad Depraved, Daught Love, famlover5, incstlvr5, and Johnnymiracle (Snapchat) Dad748392

The police are asking anyone who might have been contacted by those usernames or knows anything about Garzon’s alleged activities to get in touch.
