Police in Waterloo region are looking into a suspicious fire at a Cambridge business that they think was set on purpose.
The call came in around 2:25 a. m. Friday morning, with officers and emergency responders heading to the area near Glen Morris Road and Cedar Street in Cambridge.
Authorities said the report was about flames on a porch and parts of a business.
The Cambridge Fire Department quickly put out the small blaze, and only minor damage was noted at the scene.
But police now believe someone deliberately started the fire. They mentioned seeing three masked men near the business shortly before it caught fire.
