Last week, members of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce had their yearly chance to mingle and play some golf together at Cambridge Golf Club.

Even though the course was dry as a desert, 23 teams of four golfers each – all with different skill levels – didn’t let that stop them from playing in the nine-hole ambrose format.
Stellar Projects took home first place with a solid 27.25 nett score, closely followed by Build Link Cambridge who finished second with 27.5. The competition was tight but everyone kept things light and fun.

The event also featured a Yellow Ball challenge where teams could buy an extra ball to compete in a side stableford contest during their round. The money raised went to support Cambridge St John, giving the day a charitable angle.
Kelly Bouzaid, the Chamber’s chief executive, said this event has really become something special over its five years – mixing skillful play with fundraising and lots of friendly socializing.
“This is a great way to foster connections and friendly competition within the local business community,” she said.
