Obituary for Jamie Lynne McGoldrick

In loving memory of

Jamie Mc Goldrick

Jamie Lynne Mc Goldrick, 48, from Cochrane, Ontario, passed away quietly on April 4, 2026 with her parents close by. Born in May 1977 right there in Cochrane, Jamie was the daughter of Gerald and Lynne Mc Goldrick and sister to Daryl Mc Goldrick (Denise) and Karen Perusse (Chris). She was loved by her nieces and nephews Liam and Ella Mc Goldrick, Aubrey Hamilton, Oliver and Hazel Goulet, plus Brynley Perusse. Jamie also had a special bond with cousins like Shawn Mc Goldrick as well as her aunts and uncles Alice Haworth, Heather Charles (Bob), Thomas Moore (Colleen), Trevor Moore (Teri), her longtime honorary Aunt Shirley Toal, and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her aunt Judy Cowell (nee Mc Goldrick), uncle John Cowell, and uncle Syd Haworth.

Jamie was the fun aunt who loved throwing huge water balloon fights, cooking hot dogs over the fire, painting rocks just for fun, fishing trips, jumping off boats for swims, wild hairdos, and big bonfires. Her favorite place to be was camp at Deception Lake. She also enjoyed spending time with her pets Shelby and Charlie.

Visitations will happen at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home located at 70 Seventh Avenue South in Cochrane starting at 9:30 am on May 9, 2026. The memorial service will start at 11 am followed by a lunch at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall. Everyone who knew or cared for Jamie is welcome to come.

If you’d prefer to give something instead of flowers you can donate to the Northern Ontario Animal Welfare Society (www. noaws. com) in Jamie’s name.

She’ll always be loved and never forgotten.
