LALONDE, Mary Catherine (nee. Peltier)
May 15, 1958 – May 19, 2026
She passed away peacefully with family by her side. Devoted Wife for 40 years to the late Kyle Lalonde. Caring Mother to Ryan (Simran) and Connor (Cassie). Proud Grandma of Gabby and Kylan, and known as Grandma Mary to Taylor. She will be fondly remembered by Melissa and Kevin Bridgen. Preceded in death by her Parents William and Patricia Peltier (nee. Parkyn). She’ll be missed a lot by her Brothers; Paul (Sheila), William (Claire), and John (Karen). A loving Sister-in-law to Sean and Beth Lalonde as well as Stephen Lalonde. Cherished Aunt to Stephanie, Rachelle, Matthew, Korey, Dylan, Alexis, Logan, Keegan, and Chase. Her extended family and close friends will also miss her dearly-especially Lori Smith; her best friend for over six decades.
Mary took great pride in her career as a dispatcher and logistics expert for more than 40 years. She was a wonderful Mom, a doting Grandma, and just a genuinely kind person. Her Catholic faith was very important to her throughout life.
The family wants to say a big thank you to everyone at the T2B Palliative Care Unit at Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare for their support.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, May 22, 2026 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm and again from 7:00pm – 9:00pm with parish prayers at 4:30pm at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (CENTRAL) 519-253-7234, located at1700 Tecumseh Rd E. Another visitation happens Saturday morning May 23rd at Most Precious Blood Church on1947 Meldrum Rd starting at9:30am followed by the funeral service at10:00am. Cremation will follow with burial planned later.
