Douglas George Gallagher
February 2, 1957 – May 3, 2026
Douglas George Gallagher quietly passed away at his home in Etobicoke, Ontario on May 3rd. He was 69 years old. Doug will be missed by his brother David and sister-in-law Susan, along with cousins Robin Hagen and Jim and Pat Hagen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Georgina and Thomas.
Doug earned degrees from Humber College and the University of Waterloo. He was a professional member of ASQ (American Society for Quality) and recently retired as a Supplier Quality Specialist from Safran. Doug really loved jazz music-he often went to the Orangeville Jazz and Blues Festival and liked tuning into the Grand Ole Opry’s Saturday night shows. He also enjoyed reading about world history and had a strong interest in cars. Family and friends will miss him a lot. The Celebration of Life is set for Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Ward Funeral Home, located at 2035 Weston Road in Toronto.
