We’re sad to share that Francesca Cerroni passed away peacefully with her family close by on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. She was 83 years old.
She was married to Giovanni Cerroni for 59 years.
A devoted mom to Antonella (Enrico) Notte, Louie (Teresa) Cerroni, and Daniel (Michelle) Cerroni.
Proud grandmother to Gianluca, Sabrina, Christian, Olivia, and Alessia.
Sister to Tony (Shari) and Jim (Cindy) Tempesta. Also a loving sister-in-law to Teresa (late Antonio) Carlini.
Many nieces, nephews, and relatives will miss her dearly.
She was predeceased by her parents Giuseppe and Maria Tempesta, along with her in-laws Luigi and Antonia Cerroni.
Francesca loved her family deeply-especially her grandkids-and was famous for her baking and cooking. She also enjoyed gardening and cared a lot about her dogs. She worked as a sewer at General Motors Trim for many years before retiring.
The family wants to thank Nurse Practitioner Filomena Rowley, the kind Hospice team, Nurse Anoop, PSW Kate, Dr. A. Figaro, and Dr. Stephen Rukavina for their outstanding care and support.
You can visit at Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel located at 11677 Tecumseh Road East in Windsor on Sunday, April 26 from 1:00 p. m. until 4:00 p. m., then again Monday morning starting at 9:30 a. m., leading up to the Funeral Service at 10:30 a. m.
Fr. Greg Bonin will lead the funeral service followed by entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
