Police have arrested another person following last week’s stabbing of a man in a Cambridge neighbourhood.
The Waterloo regional police charged a third individual with several assault and weapons offences.
A 45-year-old man from Cambridge was taken into custody on Tuesday near Hespeler Road. Authorities said they carried out a “high-risk arrest” without any problems.
On the morning of March 23, officers responded to reports of a stabbing in the South Galt area of the city.
A 31-year-old man was found with multiple stab wounds around Scrimger and Ballantyne avenues.
His injuries were serious but not life-threatening at that time.
Two others-a man and woman from Cambridge-had already been arrested and charged shortly after the incident.
Police haven’t mentioned if there are any other suspects involved in this case.
