Brian Matthew Wright quietly passed away at home on October 27th, 2025, in Sudbury, Ontario. He was born on February 6th, 1940. Brian is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon (Hamill), his sister Barb Mac Leod (Al), the Hamill family, his goddaughter Julia Hamill, Suzanne Harrison, and a bunch of cousins, nieces and nephews-his little troublemakers. He was predeceased by his brothers Bobby (Marlene) and Teddy (Betty). After many years working as a Stationary Engineer, Brian retired from Vale/INCO.
Brian and Sharon spent a lot of time skiing across the mountains in Europe and British Columbia. He also loved being outdoors-fishing, hunting, golfing-and enjoyed plenty of sauna sessions at Lake Penage. For many years he served as President of the Beefsteak and Burgundy Club and earned a Branch Life Membership there.
A big thank you goes out to Chris and everyone at Bayshore as well as Stacey from Seniors Only for all their kindness and care.
