We are deeply saddened to share that Rose passed away suddenly on April 18, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born in Canicatti, Sicily on February 11, 1939. Rose was the wife of the late Giuseppe Guarneri and the loving wife of Castrense Bertolino. She was a devoted mother to Tanya and her husband Mike Gaudet. A proud Nonna who adored Marissa and Joey more than anything. Rose is now at peace reunited with her parents Giuseppe and Vincenza Orlando as well as her parents-in-law Francesco and Vincenza Bertolino. She will be missed by her sister Josie and husband Eddi Moretuzzo, sister-in-law Alfonza Orlando (late Angelo), and brother-in-law Vito Bertolino (late Ignazia). Many nieces, nephews, friends, and family will carry her memory in their hearts. Rose was strong-willed, hardworking, and caring. She loved cooking and baking-always making sure everyone had plenty to eat. Her happiest moments were spent with family, especially her grandchildren.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd., Windsor (519-253-7235) on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 2:00 p. m. to 5:00 p. m., then again from 7:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. It will continue Friday morning April 24 at 9:00 a. m., followed by the Funeral Mass at 10 a. m. at Our Lady of the Atonement Parish located at 2940 Forest Glade Dr., Windsor.
