Christina (Chrisoula Patsiatzis) Haralampidis, aged 94, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026 in Michael Garron Hospital, Toronto Ontario.
Born on March 8th 1932 in Karya, Olympou Greece, Chrisoula was the fifth of six children born to Aspasia and Nicholas Patsiatzis. Sadly, she lost her mother when she was just six years old. In 1960, Chrisoula followed her lifelong best friend and sister, Maria Dassios, to Canada but returned to Greece in 1962 to marry Kostandinos Haralampidis (who passed away in 2015).
She took pride in keeping an open home and never missed a day of cooking hot meals for her family. At the same time, she held various jobs over the years as a cleaner and housekeeper before retiring as a kitchen assistant at St. Augustine’s Seminary. Her family, home, and faith were the center of her life and what she valued most. She is survived by her four children: Tom, Bessie, Aspasia and Katy; their spouses: Niky, John, George and Christopher; plus grandchildren Speros, Christina, Costa, Eleni, Pericles and Odysseus who will all feel her absence daily. She is also remembered fondly by her sister along with nieces and nephews.
Chrisoula will be remembered for her skill in cooking and knitting as well as gardening. Her laughter was infectious especially around family gatherings. She worked tirelessly throughout her life guided by a strong faith in God.
May she rest peacefully forever.
