Robert (Rob) William Prudhomme.
1965-2026
The family sadly shares that Robert William Prudhomme passed away on March 20, 2026, at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, Ontario.
Rob was a lifelong resident of Sudbury and was well-known and liked by many in the area. He worked as a Construction Manager for Ainsworth Inc.
He had a quiet strength and a sharp sarcastic sense of humor that could lighten up any place. Rob was the devoted husband and close friend to Laurie (née Leach), proud dad to his daughter Taylor, and stepfather to Amanda Lawson and her fiancé Jason Ramsay. He was also grandpa to their son Easton.
Rob was the loving son of Harvey and the late Mary Prudhomme (nee Pawluch) (who passed before him). He will be missed by his sister Debbie Jack and brother James with his wife Kate Muller. He was a favorite uncle to Scott, Kyle, Alfie, and Michael.
The family wants to thank all the medical staff at Health Sciences North for their kindness and support during Rob’s last days.
A gathering to celebrate Rob’s life will take place at Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home located at 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Ontario on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 2-4 pm and again from 6-8 pm. Cremation will be followed by burial in the family plot at Civic Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, donations can be made to the Shirley and Jim Fielding Northeast Cancer Centre or to the Mountbatten Alumni Association.
