Police in the Waterloo region are looking into an event where a Grand River Transit (GRT) bus driver was reportedly threatened in Cambridge.
The situation on Saturday late afternoon apparently included what police described as “racially charged comments.”
Authorities were alerted around 4:15 p. m.
The confrontation involved a male passenger, though police have not shared his age.
Officials didn’t specify the exact spot but confirmed it happened at a bus terminal somewhere in Cambridge.
The case is still open, and police are urging anyone who knows anything to get in touch.
