We’re sad to let you know that Bernie passed away suddenly at his home in Kamloops, British Columbia on November 14, 2025.
He leaves behind cousins from Ontario: Cheryl Bayles (Keith), Wendy Easterbrook, and Connor Glassford (Sydney), all from Sault Ste Marie. Also surviving him are his step-son William Wishart (Kat) of Prince George, and step-sister Adrienne White who lives in Vancouver.
Bernie was predeceased by his parents Lillian Caufield, David Caufield (Barb), and sister Roxanne Caufield.
Born in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Bernie’s love for skiing and the outdoors took him west to British Columbia where he lived for over 40 years. He will be missed by family and many friends across BC.
Following Bernie’s wishes, there won’t be a service held.
