The Waterloo Regional Police Service has charged a suspect further in an ongoing child exploitation and sexual assault case.
Since August 2025, several victims have come forward about an investigation involving Justin Garzon.
Following this inquiry, on January 7, 2026, Justin Garzon faced charges including:
Luring a child Sexual interference Sexual assault causing bodily harm Making sexually explicit material available to a child Agreeing and/or arranging to commit a sexual offence against a child Creating child sexual abuse and exploitation material Possessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material Distributing child sexual abuse and exploitation material
Justin Garzon was held for a bail hearing.
The WRPS Cybercrime Unit thinks there might be more adult and child victims out there. They’re asking anyone with info to reach out to the Waterloo Regional Police Service.
He’s known to use various names or aliases with his victims. Some of these include:

The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) has laid more charges linked to an ongoing investigation into child exploitation and sexual assault.
Since August 2025 multiple victims have come forward related to Justin Garzon.
This led to charges against Mr. Garzon including:
Assault Sexual assault Assault causing bodily harm (strangulation) Uttering threats of death Voyeurism Distributing intimate images without consent
The Brantford Police Service also charged Mr. Garzon with sexual assault and assault causing bodily harm.
The WRPS Cybercrime Unit suspects there could be other adult and child victims outside Waterloo Region too – including Brantford.

The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) filed multiple charges related to a child exploitation probe that started back in 2022.
With help from Peel Regional Police Service, RCMP, and Interpol investigators uncovered offences involving several young victims who were contacted online over years while illegal content was shared across platforms.
On August 20, 2025 officers arrested Justin Garzon, age 36 from Cambridge connected with this case. This investigation resulted in numerous charges including:
Luring a child (five counts)
Invitation to sexual touching (two counts)
Create child sexual abuse material (three counts)
Packing possession of such materials (four counts)
Distro bution of said materials (two counts)
Makin g explicit stuff available for kids (four counts)
The accused stayed locked up awaiting bail hearing.
This investigation still goes on under WRPS’ Cybercrime Unit as police believe there are more victims out there.
